This is a Bright Source 9w/14w/18w LED Polo Fitting with Corridor function, ideal for replacing 2D fluorescent fittings. This polo fitting is also IP65 rated (splashproof)
This fitting features the ability to switch colour temperatures from 3000k Warm White to 4000k Cool White to 6500k Daylight. Offering energy savings of 42% and boasting a lumen output of 1250 lumens. These fittings are often used in retail shops, public buildings, communal areas, sports centers, stairwells, corridors, walkways.
Corridor function explained - Built-in corridor functions are a very simple and highly efficient way of reducing energy consumption. the corridor function helps provide the right light, combined with energy-efficient and cost-effective operation. Automatic switching is based on presence/motion with the time delay set on-site to suit your requirements, where no presence is detected the light level will fade from 100% down to 10% saving up to 60% of the energy usage. The corridor function does not abruptly switch off the lighting but dims it to a 10% level.
This polo fitting is equipped with built-in emergency module and emergency battery with a 3 hours emergency duration period after a 24 hour charging time. They have an average life of 50,000 hours, over five times longer than the 28w fluorescent 2D, significantly reducing maintenance costs. This Fitting is IP65 rated meaning it is protected against light water splashes from all directions.
