Daylight LED Cornlights are available in 20w - 240w options. They are designed to replace old existing SON and Metal Halide type light bulbs, which are all being phased out. LED Corn Lights are a direct to mains 240v lamp which do not require any lighting control gear. This means you can modify the existing fittings to accept the LED Cornlight by bypassing the control gear and wiring 240v mains voltage to the lamp holder. The same way domestic 240v lighting is wired. The benefits of this are the ability to remove unnecessary components which could fail in the future and reducing the possibility of any failure.
