The Tridonic EMconverterLED BASIC 205 250 V is a self‑contained emergency lighting module designed for LED luminaires. It supports LED module forward voltages from 50 V up to 250 V, accepts a mains input of 220‑240 V AC (198‑264 V), and is built for either 1‑hour or 3‑hour emergency operation via a simple duration‑link. Equipped with 3‑pole technology (LED changeover and delayed driver power), this module enables seamless transition from normal to emergency mode within approx. 0.25 s.

Ideal for retrofitting or new luminaires, this compact emergency device features a slim housing (≈ 21 × 30 mm cross‑section) and offers compatibility with most constant‑current LED drivers. It protects against open‑circuit, short‑circuit and wrong load conditions, includes a green status indicator LED, and is rated up to 100 000 h lifetime under specified conditions.  When installing ensure compatibility: maximum LED driver output current ≤ 2 A, peak inrush current ≤ 60 A (1 ms) and a max driver output voltage U‑OUT of 450 V.
