The Bright Source LED Self Test Emergency Downlight delivers 170 lumens of consistent emergency illumination, ensuring safety and visibility in commercial and public spaces. Designed with self-test functionality, this unit simplifies maintenance by automatically performing functional and duration tests in compliance with BS EN 50172:2004, when activated via a remote control. Its ultra-wide corridor lens projects light at a 147° x 80° beam angle, ideal for long, narrow spaces such as hallways and passageways. The downlight operates at 220-240V AC with a low 5W power consumption, helping to reduce energy usage while maintaining optimal performance.

Product Description (Paragraph 2):
This compact IP20-rated unit is built for discreet ceiling installation with a 32mm cut-out and includes a durable 1pc 5050 LED. It offers a 3-hour emergency duration supported by a 1.5W nominal output and a robust 18650 Li-ion 3.6V 2.5Ah battery, which charges fully in under 16 hours. The self-test emergency light also features Class II insulation and IK06 impact protection, making it suitable for a variety of non-weatherproof environments. For ongoing reliability, a standby power of <0.5W ensures minimal energy draw during idle periods, and the unit shuts down automatically after 3 hours to preserve battery health.
