A 250 Watt elliptical mercury or MBFU bulb with a GES fitting - emits a high level of neutral white light. MBFU lamps are frequently used in industrial applications, from outdoor lighting eg. residential areas and roads. They can also be used in car parks, garages and shops. This lamp is equivalent to Osram's HQL & Philips HPL lamps which are obsolete.
